Dark Clouds

The dark days looming
Wishes of the people wrested
Decided by a single wrathful Hand
Too afraid to let the people decide

We aren't little children
We know well, our rights of the law
This ugly episode of offering wealth
The uglier representatives ran

We expected him to know
Expecting the wishes of the masses and rule of law
Now their hopes have faded; distress brought to the throne
Come the next GE, a resounding victory cry

Threats of banishment
Suppresses of tear gas and arrests
Defeat not the hopes of the pious
Prayers will prevail, as will the tides of humanity

It is not a Hand that rules the Land
But the will of the masses
Let the Hand be above all mockery
The Hand that guides, not conives

The hoppers will receive what is due
The peoples' trust they forget
Let the fall of Perak be a lesson
For the Nation, thereafter rise.

How many lessons do they need just to get a little bit smarter? And how many chances we shall give before we give up? Or in fact, we should gave up since yesterday?

Whats with the poetry???
and mix it with politics?
dark clouds loom but could be one without rain?

lcfu ~ actually, it's all due to greed. Lokk at the Taiwanese. They are such a progressive nation, but their politicians act like thugs too.

Daniel ~ politics is in my blood. My dad was a Gerakan pioneer with Tun Lim Chong Eu. But my dad resigned too coz he got so disgusted with politics.

Glog ~ poetry coz the numb-nuts gomen peeps who check on bloggers wont hv the brains to decipher contents of poetry ma. lolz
