In line with the recent announcement yesterday of the latest drop in price of petrol from RM2.45 to RM2.30, the PM made an extinguishable attempt to take credit by proudly announcing that it was the 3rd price reduction in recent months and that the consumer groups and members of the traders associations should take heed to take responsibility of forcing the reduction of the price of goods.
He went on further on the blame-game to insist that the government should not be held accountable should the prices of goods remain at the high-level of post RM2.70.
What the f#$^!!!! If the government should not be held accountable, who then? Even an illiterate could tell you that no hawker, trader or other businessmen would ever reduce the price of their goods after facing such steep sudden increase in petrol price (40%). It had a domino effect that could never be undone. Prices would definitely remain at this level; if not increase further.
Is it because they are simply too stupid to understand simple economics or have they been sitting on their fat-wallet-arses for too long to have a reality check?
*Bah, humbug!*
