Our very own local crusader for human rights and justice, RPK was freed this afternoon at 3:40 pm. It was reported that RPK was whisked away in a grand maroon Rolls Royce fit for a king whilst as many as 150 supporters who were present at the courts , shouted "RPK!RPK!"
The Shah Alam High Court judge ruled that Raja Petra's detention was illegal and unconstitutional and that the Home Minister had acted outside his jurisdiction when he issued a two-year detention order under Hotel ISA.
It was also reported that when the verdict was read out, everyone who had gathered in the packed courtroom erupted in jubilation so much so the judge had to admonish the crowd and remind them that it was a court of law.
I am sure from our hearts, we owe our utmost gratitude to the legal team who worked tirelessly for this victory. This victory is not only for RPK, but also for all Malaysians who have been one way or the other through prayers, vigils have been committed to fight for justice. We may come from different backgrounds and have different skin-colour, but this ONE MAN , our very-own "Gandalf" has managed to keep us together in our hearts and minds where it matters most. Let this precious crusader and his family be blessed always ........ and let this nation we that love, be blessed as well!!!

Cheers RPK! I have been his fan for years.
I often wondered why HM didn't help him?
I've been following his blogs for quite some time as well. Great that he's free now.
Rolls? Wah.... tak tahu pulak.
Wow. And he got free in a limo :)
Nevertheless wonderful news!
I am glad good sense finally prevailed. it is quite a relief to similar minded Malaysians who didnt agree with his detention under ISA including yrs truly here.
Tz and KYee - I guess most of us are his fans, yup, even some of my ol' friends who are UMNO members. :) Thanks for being a regular.
William & Savante - Bentley wld hv been nicer. Seems they hv broken the ol' trishaw tradition Hehe :)
Thanks for your visit.
Beng - Temporary relief, coz the goons may want to appeal on his release order. To me, his detention was just a gimmick to buy time for DPM to secure No.1 nomination in the upcoming UMNO election. Thanks for yr gracious visit! :)
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND, Y'ALL!!!
