A picture could tell of a million tales.
Ask anyone which part of the picture catches his/her interest and their answers would be varied. Is it the cumulus clouds, the blue skies beyond, or the blackened ridge? With them having to apply their own inkblot test, each would have his/her interpretation.
I must admit that owing to my profession that practices stoicism, I often tend to have the habit to see things from the logical but not necessarily the most appropriate point of view, the eventual storm approaching as the cumulus clouds arrive in cue, as water molecules join forces, preparing for the usual equatorial downpour that is a normalacy in our country.
To impress, I might otherwise have said that I see the clear blue beyond the cumulus layers, eager to force the clouds away by forging allegiance to the sun, melting the clouds, dissolving their moisture, all in a show of optimistic clarity.
And then, there is the mountain, terra firma, however small it looks.
2008 had lapsed.
What will this new year bring?

If you look closely, the words Be optimistic can be seen obliquely in the clouds.
The New Year will unfold as it always does, regardless of the weather, in a perfect pleat.

The blue sky cathes me the most. But I'm more curious on those far and unreachable mountains. Not sure what does this imply though. Greedy? In 2009, I want to see more happiness within myself. Cheers.
