This is a picture my brain with a heavy duty really irritating headache which stemmed from the prolonged heat wave. I have been prorogued along with the rest of the country.....
I have much I want to write about on the state of affairs of this country, but I'll have to wait. I can't seem to formulate a sentence this evening.
Five words to describe how i am feeling about the mess we call our sad current state of political affairs in this country......
outraged
disgusted
shocked
disappointed
frustrated.
Here's the latest piece of shit news that has left me flabbergasted about the level of competence of our politicians, this time, from none other than the 2nd most powerful person:

English not a 'must pass' for SPM?
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is surprised to learn that English is not a “must pass” subject for SPM and wants public feedback on the matter.
The Education Minister said it was a revelation to him as he had always thought that it was a prerequisite since students had to learn English in school.
He was also shocked to learn that national schools no longer taught English grammar.
WTF!
What has he been doing all these years being a high-ranking leader in the government. I am totally caught-offguard that he was "surprised". Honestly, how could you even dare to reveal your lack of intelligence and utter level of ignorance? Seriously, what have you been upto since taking on the role of "Education Minister"? Too busy fending off attacks from the "just-as-incompetent" opposition, or still busy hoarding whatever-your-sorry-fat-stinkin'-hands could lay on?
No wonder the level of the English Language amongst the country's masses have been dropping at an alarming rate. And you still have the audacity to go around asking for debates on whether Maths and Science should be taught in the English Language. You can't even seem to settle this "surprising" revelation, let alone the latter!
Such a farce, it's uncomprehensible!
I believe the only way to save our pathetic politicians from the evil doing similar to that of those cartoon characters namely the Green Goblin from Spiderman or Mojo Jojo of the PowerPuff Girls, is to call in a couple of our very own superheroes........ foremostly, Raja Petra and his good goons. They are our last resort.
Now.............I'm going to suck on some drugs and go rest on the sofa. I could barely take-in so much shit from these sorry imbecile fellas we call "leaders".
I need to get the hurricane out of my head.

Yes, I am shocked by the DPM's statement too. How could he possibly not know? I can only shake my head in disbelief. Don't know what else to say.

acherly i think that answer was politically correct, im sure he knows this all this while and probably one of the strongest advocate for this, but then when ur ah head ask u something like tat publically, the only publically and politcally correct answer would b this mah. other answers would b more disastrous!
as for the malaysia politics, really no eye see lah (ironically i still read it everyday :P). no nid to get angry with them lah, i rather get angry with all the sinful chocolates, and gobble them down my stomach lolll....

i think this is another diplomatic ploy exploiting by those upper classes so that the government will always be ruled by them and their noble families. They keep on emphasizing the importance of national language - Malay while their broods are highly educated in English by specially-hired British educators. (like my mom's Malay neighbour)
Nevertheless most Malays are proud to master their own language, which in reality, bring them nowhere. Hence sovereign will still be the sovereign and the rich gets richer.
