Just received via email of the "very Malaysian" cartoons. This being my 5oth blog, I wanted it to be politically-skewed since one of my original intentions for blogging was on the current political state of this country. I guess I have strayed, more for personal reasons. Neways, thought the cartoons were quite catchy and very true depiction of our Gomen flers, so just wanna share with you guys. My sincere apologies to my foreign readers who might not be able to "catch" some of the funnies.
On another note, ever seen the ads shown lately on Astro for Sehati-Berdansa, the local version of America's hit "Dancing With The Stars"? What's the fuss about Yoga and other lesser evils (as termed by the National Fatwa Council) when our very own celebrity-couples were shown gyrating and making other sexually-suggestive-moves in full view of the public, only stopping short of doing the pole dance? Worse still, there have been attempts to do dance skits of other cultures. Taking cue from their attempt on the ill-conceived ruling on yoga, wouldn't it be a religious contempt to have the Malay participants doing a Bharatanatyam, to which is an Indian dance form of religious origin?

I've personally experienced a cop wearing the 'Saya Anti-Rasuah' badge and smiling at me with 2 of his front teeth missing ... informing me I'm speeding which is totally not true because traffic was crawling at that hour on the way to the Penang bridge! And there's no signboard anywhere which says only 40kmph! He later suggested he can save me the hassle by ...
